Discover our exceptional fireplaces, bearing witness to ancient craftsmanship and European refinement.
Belgium is a country of marble and fireplaces. The marble from our regions enhances palaces all over the world. The architects of Versailles particularly appreciated Rance marble and “Belgian black,” while grey Sainte-Anne marble shelves adorned the finest commodes of the Age of Enlightenment.
Our collection of marble fireplaces reflects this heritage and this taste for fine materials. Each fireplace is selected for the quality of its stone, the elegance of its lines, and the richness of its history. We offer fireplaces ranging from the 17th to the 20th century, carefully restored to regain their original lustre.
We purchase between three and ten marble fireplaces each month. Each piece is dismantled, transported, and restored in our workshop, enabling us to guarantee the authenticity of the materials and to offer you the best prices.
Our collection of antique marble fireplaces bears witness to decorative refinement and the craftsmanship of European marble workers.
We offer marble fireplaces dating from the 17th to the 20th century, including emblematic models from the great French styles.
Majestic and architectural, Louis XIV fireplaces stand out for their straight lines, noble proportions, and imposing cornices. They evoke classical grandeur and the symmetry of Versailles interiors.
Louis XV fireplaces are adorned with elegant curves, shells, and rocaille motifs. Their rounded shape and refined carvings express the lightness and decorative spirit of the 18th century.
Louis XVI fireplaces are recognised by their straight, balanced lines inspired by Antiquity. In light-coloured marble, often decorated with friezes or fluted columns, they bring understated, classical elegance to any interior.
More monumental, Empire and Napoleon III fireplaces stand out for their contrasting marbles and richly ornamented décor: palmettes, carved pediments, or massive columns. They embody the power and prestige of the 19th century.
Art Deco fireplaces favour geometric shapes and clean lines. In polished marble, black or white, they reflect the modern spirit of the early 20th century and integrate perfectly into contemporary interiors.
Choosing a fireplace means incorporating a fragment of history and a touch of timeless elegance into an interior. It structures the space, draws the eye, and gives the room a unique soul.
These fireplaces are not merely decorative elements, but witnesses to taste and artisanal craftsmanship. Marble patinated by time, finely carved mouldings, and the stone’s natural variations create an authentic presence that is impossible to reproduce with modern materials.
An antique fireplace can be reinstalled as the focal point of a living room or transformed into decorative surround to restore character to a contemporary interior.
We restore and reassemble all our fireplaces with the utmost care. Each dismantling is carried out by hand to preserve the original elements. We then clean, sand, and consolidate the marble in our workshop.
Our experience enables us to work on fireplaces from all periods, from Louis XIV to the 20th century. We ensure that the natural patina and stylistic coherence of each model are respected.
